Taylor Novak

Taylor Novak is a senior at Liberty High School and active in the marching band there. She came to YDA interesting in exploring A.D.D. and A.D.H.D., conditions she knows well having grown up with Attention Deficit Disorder. As part of her film, MORE THAN A.D.D., Taylor located a family in Colorado Springs whose two children both have A.D.D. and A.D.H.D. respectively. While building trust and rapport with her subjects, she created a portrait of a fiercely loving family unwilling to tolerate ignorance and misguided strategies in the schooling of their differently-abled kids.
