2017 Year in Review
In 2017 the Youth Documentary Academy (YDA) grew by leaps and bounds. Not only did we graduate a new class of twelve dynamic filmmakers, our new YDA Impact Team engaged our growing collection of over 50 YDA films to audiences around the Pikes Peak region and nationwide. Our films explore social issues as diverse as foster abuse, PTSD, racial profiling, gender, immigration and the environment. All told through the eyes of young people in our community
